The struggle is real.

We made it through the winter with no heat. But now the heat is on and the people are back!

Mad props to everyone who believed – believed we would see it through.

In the last few weeks we’ve had another epic yard sale, several art days, a killer birthday party, an epic four band punk show and the clean-up to end all clean-ups.

I am still so overwhelmed by the volunteers who continue to make it happen.

What we did this past weekend was beyond my expectations (and for those who know me, that’s HUGE!!!).

This once empty building was full of new faces, musicians, music lovers, happy pups and creative fans. My friends cleaned bathrooms, organized, vacuumed, mopped, swept, bartended, bounced, carded, hand stamped, ran tech, hung lights, emceed, took covers, shot photos, found change… Another surreal moment in the life of a hyper dreamer watching what feels like a perfectly scripted, self-written, fantasy biography unfold right before her very own eyes.

Today I hung with my babies, finished filing my taxes, cleaned up a painting party, received a completely unexpected donation, processed apps for summer camps, opened a letter from 67 thankful students from Sacred Heart…

I can’t believe this is my life.

I’m 45.

Keep dreaming.

Keep making friends.

Keep wanting more.

You can.
